How do Sub-Accounts work?

What are Sub Accounts?

Sub Accounts let you structure your organisation inside eSIM Copilot to match your real-world teams or regions. Think of them as separate workspaces within your main (parent) account — each with its own settings, users, and visibility.

Parent and Sub Account Structure

Every organisation starts with a Parent Account. From there, you can create Sub Accounts for specific regions or departments, such as:

  • Americas
  • EMEA
  • Asia-Pacific
  • Test or Training environments

Each Sub Account can have its own:

  • Admin users
  • Plan availability and pricing
  • Billing configuration
  • Approval and spending rules
  • Usage reports and history

Access and Permissions

Admins can only access:

  • The account they’re assigned to
  • Any Sub Accounts created beneath that account

This means you can have:

  • A global Super Admin
  • Regional admins (e.g. EMEA or Americas)
  • Local admins with access to a single team

Creating a Sub Account

To create a Sub Account:

  1. Go to Sub Accounts in the Admin Console (as an Admin user)
  1. Click Add Sub Account
  1. Enter the Sub-Account name, country it is based in and the currency the plans will be displayed in

Once set up, each Sub Account can operate with its own rules — while staying connected to the overall company structure.
