How can we help? 👋

Changing your APN on Android

Most of the time, you won’t need to touch your APN settings — your eSIM Copilot plan will set it automatically.

Our standard APN is:

globaldata

But if something’s not working and you want to check or update it manually, here’s how.

🤔 What is an APN again?

APN stands for Access Point Name — it's what tells your phone how to connect to mobile data. Without the correct APN, your phone might connect to the network but not actually access the internet.

📱 How to check or change your APN

  1. Open Settings
  1. Tap Network & Internet (or Connections)
  1. Tap Mobile Network
  1. Select Access Point Names (APN)
  1. Tap the existing APN (or Add a new one)
  1. Set the APN field to: globaldata
  1. Leave all other fields as they are (unless told otherwise)
  1. Tap Save

If you are using an old version of Android, you might need to restart your network connection (or your phone) to make it reconnect to the network with the right APN.
